Sunday night after a sumptuous dinner, my mother intently looked at the turned off television and asked, “What shows are on today? Today is Sunday, right?”

Dana answered, “None. “No-palabas” (no TV show) day today because it’s all about Jesus!” Then, she followed through with a song, “Jesus Christ… My King…”

She looked at me and asked, “So mommy, what did you learn in church today?”

“We learned about Rahab and how she helped the Israelites in Jericho,” I answered.

Without hesitation, Dana shared in amazement, “Well, we learned about Paul and Saul today. Do you know that they’re the same person?”

I giggled upon seeing her interest on the topic and quipped, “Yes.”

And the sharing went on. And on. And on.
