At a computer shop today, two ten-year-old kids were fighting over an online game. Hale heard this so she approached them and went into their midst with both of her hands signaling them to stop. Hale said “Don’t fight. Don’t fight. It’s ok. It’s ok. He’s your friend. Just relax.” Then one of these guys stormed toward the door to leave the shop while Hale ran after him and blocked the doorway. “Don’t go away. Don’t go away. I asked you to relax but you didnt.” Hale went on explaining the value of friendship, pleading for this guy to stay. The guy’s face showed lightness while the owner of the shop laughed and began talking to her agreeing with her manner of becoming a mediator at the moment. She, the owner, asked who the parent of this child was. They pointed to Erwin. Erwin just smiled.
