I picked up these books, thinking Ate Hale might enjoy them. I found them right in front of me at the library while sitting on the carpet next to Chantry, who was quietly playing with blocks. Flipping through the pages, I noticed colorful illustrations alongside the text. “Ate Hale would love these,” I thought. Luckily, I have a couple of large bags with me, so they’ll easily fit inside.

It’s been two days since I borrowed these educational books. Now, Ate Hale has been enthusiastically explaining cell components to me, including cytoplasm, mitochondria, vacuole and ribosomes, among others. Surprisingly, Chantry is familiar with them too, thanks to her Ate’s explanations!
Then Ate Hale shared, “The most effective way to improve comprehension skills is to explain what you have read or learned to someone else.”
She’s right.
Thanks, Ate Hale!
